Search Science and the Consumer Journey

This session will help attendees use search science to discover consumer intents and behaviors, utilizing a variety of free tools from Google, Amazon, and Answer the Public to discover intents and behaviors around products, categories, or services. This session will culminate with how to synthesize all these disparate pieces of information into a coherent consumer journey, as well as how to use this information to build a long-term search marketing strategy.

After this session, you’ll be able to:

  • Use free, widely available search tools to mine consumer intents and behaviors.
  • Build a long-term search marketing strategy by using the data from these search tools
  • Analyze the data mined from these search tools to build a consumer journey that demonstrates need states and behaviors at each phase
